About me

<p>Stephen Rousset is a Distinguished Engineer and Director of Architecture for Dell’s Extreme Scale Infrastructure group, where he is responsible for tracking technology trends and applying the appropriate technology to product concepts in Dell’s scale out offerings.  Stephen and his team work closely with customers to provide them insight into the scale transition, highlighting the technology shifts which must be realized to execute the hyperscale blueprint.   Stephen joined Dell in 2012 after holding technical leadership positions in pioneering startups, RLX Technologies – the first x86 blade server company, and NextIO – the first company offering I/O Virtualization via PCIe switching.  Prior to entering the IT industry, Stephen led development teams in the telecommunications space at Alcatel, and in the defense industry at E-Systems.</p>
