Associating .PIT file with vWorkspace for ChromeOS?

Hello,

Has anyone here ever had an issue associating .PIT file with vWorkspace for ChromeOS (Chromebook)? We are running the current (as of today) stable release.

We were able to install the vWorkspace app from the following link:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/vworkspace/ebpdlnkemplbggaleahcmhjhblolgmhh

But when clicking on the program icon in the Chrome browser, we can only download the file. There seems to be no way to configure associations for file types and no way to "open with".

We had previously installed two versions of Citrix Receiver, and the browser seems to be associating one of those version with the .PIT file. Disabling the app doesn't seem to make a difference. I will try uninstalling both Citrix apps and reinstalling the vWorkspace app this evening.

Regards,

Richard

Hi Richard,

In the 8.6 vWorkspace Management Console goto Web Access Site Properties | vWorkspace Connectors

Goto the Chrome OS tab and make sure you have "Chrome Connector" radio button selected.

I hope that helps.

Thanks,

Sam

Hi,

Try to put the AppPortal/WebPortal URL in the trusted zone.
