query logged on vdi users

Hi, I'm new to the Quest community. I'm a sysadmin guy who does the vWorkspace stuff in my org, amongst others. And I've got a question.

We use version numbering for our vdi's, currently we have 2 vWorkspace groups in use that have been assigned 2 managed applications. Each managed application represents a different version of a vdi build. Depending on our needs we have at most 4 different versions (so also 4 groups & 4 managed apps) in use.

Is it possible to query (preferrably via powershell, but a sql query will do as well) the vWorkspace database for a list of users (realtime), that are logged in a vdi? Either total number of logged in users across all groups or logged in users per vWorkspace group.

Our virtual desktop environment consists of vWorkspace 7.2 MR1, Windows 7 virtual desktops running on VMware ESXi and Netapp.

kind regards,

Ritch
