Aurora R1-4 power switch custom mod?
Aurora R1-4 supposedly use Intel front panel 9-pin pinout standard on motherboard allowing relatively easy custom mod of Pwr button or jump start test. Tesla/Cass verified pin 6-8 are for Pwr sw. (R5-8 embed Pwr sw in proprietary led header)
besides the external deluxe usb Pwr sw tested by Tesla, some other ideas:
2.4ghz RF remote control up to 20 m.

Hi, Chris, I was referring to the older model Aurora R1 through R4.
same idea might be applied to Area 51 R1 through R4.
I suppose Dell engineer might take this idea and offer future (less costly) version of PCIe based remote power switch for next gen Alienware gaming pc, so user can remotely switch on pc like a car, and better still with customizable sounds.

Several models use a standard that is known like the X51 R1 R2 motherboard.
Could not find your deluxe but found something similar.

Per the title, are you saying Aurora R1 to Aurora R4? Or, Aurora R14?
