You're going to want to get liquid cooling installed. I got the stock Alienware one and it made a big difference. Also, to make your pc not sound like a leaf blower... I suggest switching out the fans. Unfortunately, the way the case is designed... It doesn't get proper airflow at all unless you blast your fans at top speed. The stock fans it comes with are fast, but loud. 

@Den64 Might want to take a look at some YouTube videos on DIY installs of AIOs, fans, and VRM heatsinks.  There are a few good videos.  Lots info on the boards here too.  I've done the upgrades myself with my R10.  Pretty easy, just do your research on your model, as I believe the R12s are a bit finicky with aftermarket fans.  Made the same mistake going with air cooled.  The small form factor is a hot box and AIOs seem like a must.  Fans with high static pressure are nice but not necessary.

I have the Liquid cooled version and mine sounds like that too it’s the nature of this design. Yeah go liquid cooled verse your warranty is a decision you’ll have to make.
