So I have an Area-51m R2 360hz and put a screw through the side of the LCD cable and now it doesn't work. I can't seem to get one via Dell and can't find them in stock online. If I bought a 144Hz screen or a R2 screen with the cable and put that on my 360Hz screen, will I get the full refresh still?
I hope I can help with this issue you're having today!
So the LCD cable for your display is the issue but the screen is still fine right?
You would need to contact Dell for a full screen replacement or just the cable as they don't individually sell the cable alone.
Also if you got a 144Hz screen it wouldn't be able to go up to the 360Hz you want.

Quick Tip: If your laptop has voltage / charging issues, try shutting it down, unplugging power from laptop, hold power button down for 30 seconds to do a full reset!
Hi @MessyHarbor3 product support for Alienware Area-51m R2, Removing the display assembly, shows the the display cable. Please look at the white labels on the display cable for the Dell Part Number (DP/N), and use this DP/N to search online: eBay, etc. Please share the display cable DP/N.
There are also Alienware Area-51m R2 laptops on eBay being sold for parts only.
