m16 R2, audio stopped working

My audio stopped working. Tried troubleshooter and reinstalling drivers. Troubleshooter says is a driver issue but

I cant seem to figure it out.

Hi everyone,

Dell has demoted Realtek version 6.0.9738.1 from the support site. If you're experiencing issues with no audio on your Alienware m16 R2 laptop after updating the Realtek driver, please follow these steps to resolve the issue:

Log in as an administrator.

Download and install the current version 6.0.9667.1, A02 or later.

Please test it and let us know if this fixed the issue.

Replacing Realtek Audio Driver A03 with A00 may solve this issue.

I still had this issue with the A04 revision of the driver. Reverting back to A00 fixed it.

Now Windows update is scheduling installation of several Realtek media and extensions.

How do I stop the update from messing up the driver again?
