m17 R4, compatible SSD?

I would like to upgrade my HD and upon reviewing specs, I want to make sure it can handle a SSD 4TB card?
All the specs fit but dell doesn't offer up to 4tb as others do.

From the manual, the system will take two M.2 2280 drives plus one M.2 2230.

Your Alienware m17 R4 supports one of the following storage configurations:

    • One M.2 2230/2280 solid-state drive
    • Two M.2 2230 solid-state drives
    • Two M.2 2280 solid-state drives
    • One M.2 2230 solid-state drive and two M.2 2280 solid-state drives

Most 4T drives (if not all of them) will be 2280 -- so no problem adding one (or replacing the existing drive) with a 4T unit.

You will need to provide the model number (m17 R4, area 51m R2, etc.) for anyone to answer.

    I am specifically looking at

    Predator M.2 SSD 4TB GM7000 or Crucial P3 Plus 4TB
