Avamar 7.0.1 - NDMP and Isilon Storage
Hi,
We have Avamar 7.0.1 running in our office which backs up to Data Domain 720, and recently expanded our storage to include Isilon NL400 running OneFS 7.2.0.1.
I've been getting some mixed stories reading posts and blogs etc, but I had been told that we can use Avamar to backup the Isilon.
Is there anyone out there that has managed to get Isilon backing up with Avamar to a Data Domain, I haven't really found any clear instructions out there.

You'll need an Avamar NDMP accelerator appliance, and BOOST licenses for the DataDomain. Once you have those, you'll be able to back up from the Isilon and send the data to the DataDomain. You may need additional capacity licenses for the config, but I don't know your current environment and licensing info.
