tek-tools storage profiler is pretty cheap-ish and will give you pretty much everything the .nar files will, but you won't have to merge like 400 nar files together to see performance over time.
Well, depending on what else you have in your environment and how much you are willing to spend you may want to consider ControlCenter Performance Manager. It doesn't give you real time, but it does let you do things like grab performance data from switches and hosts as well and correlate the data.
It makes more sense if you take advantage of other ControlCenter features as well (switch/fabric management, centralized alerting and monitoring, etc.) but it may be worth looking at... especially if you also have any Symmetrix in your shop.
