Reporting on Multiple Nar Files

Has anyone been able to merge/dump or grab a bunch of Nar files collected of months of running logs and then take them and merge them all or dump them into a csv file so you then report on them?

The aim is to look at the performance of the array over a period of 2-3 months to gauge what we need to upgrade too.

I have about 100 nar files, each one is done on a 24hr period.

Two rules when merging NAR files:

    1. Use NAR files from the same SP's, ie. SPA and SPA but NOT SPA and SPB

2.Using Navisphere UI to display a merged NAR file will not display all the data points (points are still in the file).

If you merge a bunch of NAR files and then try to dump to a csv file - it will probably take a long time.

Whether you merge the NARs or Dump to csv is really dependent on the tools that you will use to analyze the resulting files.
