Dell garbage

I received an XPS 15 2 in 1 laptop and found that the audio did not work.  I called Dell support and spent an hour on hold and finally someone started running various diagnostics to try to repair.  the repairs did not work.  I then tried to repair the laptop on my own, browsing through sites like this.  After trying every suggestion, I could not repair the laptop, which I have to assume was a lemon.

I finally decided to give up and tried to return my Dell laptop.  What happened after that was the worst customer service I could ever imagine.  I cannot count the number of people I have spoken to from Dell, the number of hours I have been put on hold on the phone and number of emails I have sent to Dell support and complaint line, without any reasonable response.  Every response comes later than promised and is generally the same message of 'we can't help you, but please try calling this number..."  which of course I have called many times before to no avail.

Is anyone from Dell out there who can actually help me?  I am not a crazy person, I've owned dozens of laptops (mostly lenovos and macs, which I have found to be relatively issue-free), and my experience is that Dell hardware is garbage but the service is absolutely atrocious.

Please help.
