Permission problem after installation

After installing OME I open the console with my admin account. When I try to create a discovery I get the following:

"You don't have permission to alter these settings.Please contact your system administrator"

What have I missed:-(

Hi Bjorn, I think there are a few threads in this forum on this, so snoop around a bit. But can you check your Windows account and see if your OME account is a member of OMEAdmins? Also review FAQ #9.2.

I'd just like to add that I was having a similar issue. I followed the instructions but group permissions were not working. I had to add individual user accounts to the OMEAdmins group in order to get read/write permissions in OME.
