Server registered as OEM Devices

Hello,

some of our servers are registered as OEM devices. For example: 2 identical servers PER900, one is under Servers, one is under OEM Devices.

How can I correct this?

I have tried to install latest OMSA, rediscover the servers ...

Okay, one more question, is yours an upgraded OME machine? If yes, can your try deleting the device from the device tree and perform a rediscovery of the server?

It is an upgraded machine coming from OME 1.1.

I will check deleting the devices and rediscover them.

Hey,

One question. When you say identical, do you mean both of your servers are Dell branded servers only and they are not rebranded? Are you getting the model information for both the servers in the device tree?

Hello,

both servers are R900 with same software and settings (Hyper-V Cluster).

I'm getting all model information.

After rediscover the servers are now in the Servers Group.

Great. Thanks for letting us know. After upgrading OME, it is a requirement to rediscover the systems again, so that all the functions work properly.
