Broadcom Advanced Control Suite 4 - Disable iSCSI Offload Engine?
Hi,
I thought that I should create a new thread since Dell-JoeS is on vacation and was hoping someone else could help me. (Existing thread: http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/storage/f/4466/t/19493831.aspx)
I opened BACS4, selected the Broadcom NIC, clicked on the Configurations Tab, and clicked on the Configure button. I do not see where to disable iSCSI Offload Engine. This is what I see:

-iSCSI: Enabled

-Offload Configuration: First Come First Served
-Pre-Allocated Resources
-TCP Offload Engine (TOE): Disabled
-TCP Offload Engine (TOE)

-iSCSI Offload Engine
-Connections: 0
-iSCSI Protocol Type: N/A
-iSCSI Pending Tasks Per Connection: 128
-TOE Allocation (%): 0
-Pre-Allocated Resources (%): 0
-Unavailable: 0
-Unreserved: 100
-Unlicensed (%): 0
In the Broadcom NIC Configurations, TCP Connection Offload (IPv4/IPv6) are both currently Disabled. Does that mean that I don't have to do anything in BACS4?

I have tried that and nothing happens.
I think the first adapter is the real adapter and the second one is the hidden iSCSI offload adapter. So in order to disable offloading, I would have to un-configure everything in the Broadcom software and re-configure it with the normal Windows adapter settings.
Would that make sense?
Same here, BACS4, Version 16.3.4.0 but I do NOT have checkboxes (as per picture above). There are checkboxes in Configure button, but unchecking ndis (I want to get rid of this one), goes through apply motion, but when finished nothing changes (still shows enabled)

Maybe someone from Dell can help... For me, NDIS was disabled after applying (it does take a little while). It has been a while since I last played with it so I may have forgotten some things.
I also opened a Dell support ticket and had a WebEx session with them. Maybe that is the way to go. I should've updated this thread with my resolution... Maybe if you find the answer, you could update this thread with your findings?
