Background

We have two 6510s with equal amount of storage on each.

Both members are RAID50

Because of networking and upgrades to hardware member1 was in the Default pool. Member 2 was in the pool named Default2. Ideally we would like to get both members in one pool with all volumes including NAS volumes.

 

In a multimember group does there need to be a member assigned to the Default pool?

Can a second pool be merged into the Default pool?

The second pool has NAS volumes? Is there anyway to move NAS volumes from one pool to another?

Is there a solution to getting all members in the same pool, ideally the Default pool or should we leave the Default pool with no members assigned and assign both members to the second pool named Default2?
