Since you have apparently replaced the battery with a genuine Dell battery, the other problem is either the charger is bad or the DC jack is bad or the motherboard is bad.

MY 'Inspiron 5593' is 6 months old. And I bought it from this site new. After a couple of months, the charger/battery failed to charge at all. I sent it back for repair and in a week or two they sent it back, but now it is failing again. SOMETIMES it charges, sometimes it warns it is SHUTTING DOWN as battery is 'empty' and it is hard to make it start charging. But if I keep removing, re-plugging it in, it usually decides to charge.

I called SUPPORT, and they have yet to call me back, but the Agent said "any repairs will not be covered under the SIX-MONTH REMAINING ON MY WARRANTY "BECAUSE I ABUSED" THE LAPTOP, and he thinks he can SEE THAT FROM WHAT?  2,000 MILES AWAY?

I have three Dell's, a 13, 20 inches and my new 15 inch BUT THIS IS IT, MY LAST DELL. A Dell Employee telling me "I ABUSED" my Laptop, and it has never been outside my Bedroom, and he could see this from what, 2,000 miles away?

TUCKER, do like I am going to do next time, buy my NEXT Laptop from a REPUTABLE COMPANY.
