I just got a g7 7790 i7 7050, and when it's connected and I load up a game, it immediately shoots up to 100°c and stays there, unless i disconnect the power cable. This really worries me, as I won't be able to play as long as i want. I read here and there that undervolting works wonders to reduce heat.  Now, xtu does not support my processor and throttlestop is not enabled in my system, I was able to install it but it won't let me move things around. I am looking to buy a cooling pad, but my hopes aren't too high on that being an ideal solution. is there anything that can be done about it besides that? I wouldn't like to go through the hassle of getting a refund and looking for a new computer.
