Is the Cooler Master 500W power supply compatible for my computer? its a OptiPlex 7050 and i want to know if its compatible with my motherboard and I don't care if the power supply is outside of the case.
No standard power supply will work as purchased, since Dell uses a nonstandard connector. At minimum you'll need an adapter to convert the power connector from standard ATX to Dell's 6-pin plug. Beyond that, the answer will depend on the specific chassis size you have and on the exact model of the power supply itself.
