Just trying to gauge if other customers out there are storing their windows profiles on the Isilon

or if they are separating the data from profile and hosting them on different platforms?

From what I hear Isilon doesnt deal too efficiently with many small files so the VNX is a better fit...

We have some xp users out there soon to be migrated to Win7 so some smbv1 would be used for the initial phase

We have a VNX so hosting profiles here, although more work, is a possibility...

Any experiences and/or advice appreciated
