WD19TB Wattage

Hi,

I was wondering if the standard 180w power supply is sufficient for my current setup or if I should upgrade. I am only using 3 Dell 24in external monitors with a WD19TB dock. I am not using the laptop screen. I have a spare 240w power supply if needed.

Specs

Dell P2419H Monitors
WD19TB
Latitude 7400 i5-8365U Intel UHD 620

Thank you

@romoguy15  The WD19TB only comes with a 180W power source. The main power requirement pertains to providing power to the attached laptop. A 180W power source allows the dock to provide up to 130W to the attached laptop. The rest is for providing power to the dock’s own internal electronics and to any USB peripherals you attach. The Latitude 7400 only requires 65W, and your display setup is totally irrelevant from a power perspective. Your setup is fine, and a 240W source won’t improve anything.
