Installing wirless (intel next-gen) on Ubuntu??
Hello! I'm on a DELL Inspiron 9400 with Ubuntu 7 64bit. It workes fine on the wired connection. I have an Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N Mini-Card (for Intel Core 2 Duo Processors). I assume there are no drivers available for this yet..? Does anyone have experience with Ubuntu (or any Linux) and this wireless device? I'm new to this OS so I'm still getting my head around it, but so far I have installed the tools necessary to get NDISwrapper to work to try it out with the Windows drivers. Should it work with the 4965AGN drivers available on the dell site? I read on a ubuntu forum a vague account of someone else with the same problem also using liblzo-22 library and openvpn in the installation, but I don't know how or why. Can anyone advice me on that or on the installation in general? A clear outline would be hugely appreciated!! Thanks a lot!!
