Hi everyone,

We recently bought a couple of Optiplex 7040 with AMD Radeo R5 340X graphic cards:

As a strict requirement we need to re-install these desktops with Scientific Linux 6.7 and the problem we have is that the screens are not working properly. After locking the session, the screen goes black and we need to reboot in order to get it working again.

I thought that installing AMD drivers would be the best workaround but Linux drivers are not available in the support pages:

I have also visited AMD website to get Linux drivers but the Radeon R5 340X is not listed as compatible:

Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? Any suggestions?
