Multitouch on XPS 13 9350 Dev edition
Hi all,
First, I'd like to thank Project Sputnik for making this possible. You guys are really doing a great job! My question is that do multitouch gestures such as three finger scroll, three finger pinch work out of box on XPS 13 9350 developer edition? If no, is there a way to configure it to make it work?
Thanks
Sincerely
Lawrence

Hi Lawrence,
I checked with engineering and at this point on screen 3 finger scroll works for 14.04 and above, pinch to zoom works on 16.04 and above.

Hi barton
I have a xps 13 skylake DE . and I upgrade ubuntu 14.04 to 15.10 then to 16.04 .
For me (almost) everything is working. but since I am new to project Sputnik :)
I was wondering if 3,4 finger touch is working on ubuntu 16.04 .
I installed the application touchegg for the ability to configure 3 or 4 finger touch to switch workspaces .
But it does not seem to work. could it be related to the driver for the touchpad ?
or should it work?
funny thing , while typing this, i noticed the 4 finger tap does trigger the search field of unity :)
Also the repo of xenial at http://dell.archive.canonical.com/updates/

To answer myself about the flickerin issue , I found this thread :
askubuntu.com/.../ubuntu-16-04-skylake-6th-generation-screen-flickering
and the reference to the drm-intel-nightly builds : kernel.ubuntu.com/.../current
I used the build from a few days ago and it seem to solve the screen flicker issueReply David Dufresne
