I have a Dell Precision 5510 with a generic Ubuntu 16.04. Is there any way to access a virtual numeric key pad with the Fn key or something? My development environment makes extensive use of the numeric keys in various commands and there seems to be no way to access them on the laptop. I don't want to use an external key pad since I quite often work on a train where I have limited space. I had a Dell Latitude before and on that there was a numeric key pad marked within the normal keypad by which you had access via the Fn key. I really miss that.

This might be a firmware issue rather than a Linux?
