Hey everyone!

So i'm a bit stuck, I've just received my new Alienware 17R4 which I absolutely love to peices. The only issue is i'm noticing pixelation on a lot of the black colors, which on my previous Dell XPS 17 laptop I didn't notice much if at all? So my question is, is this a video source problem or a monitor problem? The video source was YouTube which i know is not great for compression, But still i didn't notice this an issue on my previous 6 year old laptop. I've contacted Dell tech support and explained the issue but they didn't know what to do and want me to send my laptop back to them for inspection or fixing..? Which i really don't want to do as sending the laptop off i'm very weary of it being damaged ect and given the fact it was delivered 5km away from the correct address provided but that's a whole different story.. lol

Anyway I'm just wondering what to do as if it is just a video source problem and the screen is working fine, or does it seems like a hardware failure in which case i would need to go ahead and post the laptop back to Dell for repairs..
