I ordered my Alienware 17 in September 2014. Apparently there is another one just a few short months later with a much better min HD and Video Card. Is there a way to get a free upgrade? I would have waited if I had know this...
No there is no way to make a free upgrade from one system to the other. If you want to make the upgrade you can sell the one you currently have and buy the new one.
