Computer doesn't power up: power button or cabling?
Hello there.
I came home yesterday to a frozen computer running XP Home (even system clock was frozen to time 5 hours prior). Ctrl-Alt-Del had no effect, and neither did using the power button on the front of the case. I unplugged the computer, gave it a little time, and attempted to reboot. But it wouldn't reboot (i.e., the power button had no effect). I have tried different outlets, power cables, and power supplies, but no luck. Seems like power is going to MB, as my ethernet card has a green light, and there's a green light on the motherboard. But no luck making the hard drive spin up or getting any kind of BIOS messages on the monitor. Any ideas?
Thanks
