GX620 IDE problem
GX620 with preinstalled w2k.
1. When switching IDE to DMA (instead of PIO)w2k won't boot anymore.
2. IDE devices very low preformance.
2. Using an internal IDE DVD-burner(Lite-On)the max speed I get is DVD 1.9x, Cd 15x
3. Verifing burned data locks up the burnsoftware.
3. Playing DVD: crackeling sound
4. Playing music: crackeling sound
=> might be a "small" problem with the IDE-controler?
(using an external DVD-burner works rather normal)
5. DualCore D820 cpu on delivery was configured as an single core.
6. Rather high CPU load.
btw: bios and drivers manually updated! No effect.
Anyone has the same problems and anyone who solved it? :)

- The solution didn't work :(
But:
Today I installed DVDFab, it asked to activate DMA and it corrected the problem!
DMA enabled now and the DVD-writer is working at normal speed...
