We had some bad weather a week ago and my computer stopped working properly. The welcome screen would come up but then it would go to a blank screen after that and not boot in safe mode. We re-installed Windows XP and now it will boot fine...of course all my files are lost, but whatever. The problem is that now my computer is not recognizing the on-board network card, graphics, or sound card. Is there a way to fix this or do you think these components are just fried?
