I'm thinking about upgrading the Dual-core 6850 in my XPS 430 to the Quad-core 9650. Both run at 3 GHz. As far as I can see this should not be a problem, but since I haven't done this sort of thing before, I would appreciate any comments. Other than perhaps updating the BIOS, is there anything else I would need in order to get this to work?
