When you find out, let us all know.....This is just plain dumb.  No real difference.  Maybe Dell wanted people to think its a whole new system that has been introduced, but really is not.  Just the cost has gone up.  I won't buy it for a minute.  Dell said sometime ago it would release the Lexus type systems towards the later part of 05, and since nothing new from Intel has come out lately, and the video cards have been released a few weeks ago, Dell thought maybe a name change would promote more sales.  Those are my thoughts based on what they did.

Yea, this is stupid. There was no point in changing the names. Now our systems don't feel new anymore. :( I demand dell change my 5100 nameplate to e510!

    While you are all at it, Drive your Toyotas to the Lexus dealership for a rebadging. This whole name change thing must have given some marketing "genius" a new office or Lexota. 

The big difference is the sticker price and marketing spin. Same body, same motor and drive train and the same gullible people that think that there is a difference.  Another prime example isthe Cadillac Esplanade and the GMC Yukon, same SUV made on the same assembly line and two different prices because of rebadging. There is absolutely nothing original about the Lexus design either, just check the latest BMW and Mercedes lineup and wait for Toyota to copy the design and call it a Lexus.
