Windows Volume Control Options
Hi all.
I run a Dell Dimension 9200 with Windows XP Media Center.
When I plug in my microphone, no matter if it's in the front or back, I get a terrible humming sound.
I've tried different microphones so that isn't the issue, anyway. I know that this will solve my problem.
1. From your Volume Control, Options\Properties.
2. Under the section "Show the following volume controls", tick the microphone entry. Click OK to exit
Your microphone volume control should now be visible for muting.
2. Under the section "Show the following volume controls", tick the microphone entry. Click OK to exit
Your microphone volume control should now be visible for muting.
However, I don't have a Microphone entry under my "show the following volume controls". How do I add one?
I can see: Volume Control , Wave, SW synth, CD player, and another option which comes from the monitor.
If you need any more information or so just let me know, thanks!
