I have 2GB of RAM factory installed. Windows XP and the default BIOS recognized it fine for a couple years. I've now noticed I magically only have 1GB of RAM. The only thing I can think of is that the latest BIOS (A05) which I installed a couple months ago is no longer recognizing the full amount. It's saying I have two 512MB modules which I know is false.

I have no idea what else it could be. And as far as I know, there's no way I can roll back to a previous BIOS version.

I have run all 10 memory diagnostic tests successfully in diagnostics. The only thing I can think of is that the modules may have been dislodged which would be unusal since this laptop acts as a desktop replacement.

Strange. Any ideas?
