I get this message when I boot up. It goes on to say "This will prevent optimal system performance." I ran the onboard diagnostics (F5) and it failed for the power adapter. However, it does charge my battery and the icon that shows that the ac power is plugged is visible. Any ideas? It's very annoying with each boot up and after reading some of the other posts it looks like this situation could deteriorate. Inspiron E1405 purchased in November 2006.
