Battery Problem? Connector Problem? or Mother Board Problem?

Recently my notebook having the communication with the battery problem. it happen quite often.

1. Windows not able to locate the battery, although the battery is attached to the notebook.

2. the battery LED (indicator light) will become amber light and some time will blinking with the blue and amber light.

3. from the BIOS site, it show that "the system cannot communicate with this battery".

When this happen, i need to off the notebook and remove the battery and slot is in again, after that the battery status back to normal again. but it will happen again after 2 -  3 days.

Do any of you facing the same problem? this notebook only 15 - 16 month olds only....

Sometimes, a BIOS update will fix the battery problems. Other times it is the power adaptor or the power socket on the laptop. Search on these Forums and the web. You will find a lot of posts; one may be like yours.

But i don't think is the BIOS or Power Adapter problem, because my BIOS version is the updated version (Inspiron 1520 - A09) and when this problem occur, my notebook is run under power mode, not in the battery mode.
