GPU driver updates I have the inspiron 1545 I need Open GL 2.1 I have GL 2.0.0 wHEN I check for updates I have none available Why is this? Do I need to pay for support to get updates?
The integrated graphics controller of the Intel® G45/G43/G41/Q43/Q45 Express Chipsets and Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family supports hardware acceleration for Open GL* applications in 16-bit and 32-bit color depths. The latest Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator drivers provide support for only Open G L version 2.0. The Inspiron 1545 only supports till Open GL 2.0, hence the updates will not work for open G l 2.1.
