Getting a hard drive help me
My computer has completely failed me. Hard drive failure. Im smart enough to format a computer but thats about it. I have a dell studio 1737 and Im not sure what kind of hard drive to get my budget is around 75 dollars. Ive heard before i need a 2.5" SATA hardrive or something. Is this right? Also I know how to take the hard drive out how hard is it to use the new one? Do i just stick it in and install my operating system and drivers or is there going to be a long drawn out process?

You need a 2.5" 9.5 mm SATA notebook drive, that is correct. Install Windows, then install the Dell notebook system software and chipset driver (download from support.dell.com), then the driver for whatever you use to make your Internet connection (wired, wireless). Then go online and get and install the rest of the drivers.
