Media test failure

When I turn on my laptop it loads the dell logo. After that it will go to a screen which says

PXE-E61: media test failure, check cable.

PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE ROM.

    It most likely means your hard drive has failed - if you wish further information:

    Post the system model and age.

    Check the BIOS/UEFI setup -- is the hard drive detected, or not showing up?

    Reg. Model: P10F. I would say it is about 6-8 years old.

    Says **Hard Drive - DST short test**

    test results : not applicable

    That is When I run diagnostics

    sorry I am taking so long to respond I am using my phone since I have no way of using my computer

    You need  a new, 2.5" 9.5 or 7 mm SATA notebook drive.
