Memory
Hi.......I noticed when I upgraded my memory to 2 ea 1 GB PC2700 DDR333MHz that in my setup only sees it as 2048meg 266MHz...........any Ideas why.......Thanking You In Advance............Doug

What system do you have?
Could be that your model number only supports 266. :emotion-55:

Looks like Thereal-dbk4297 is correct. According to the tech specs I looked at the D800 only supposts 266 mhz memory.

This is the only support doc for the D800 that I can find.
And another quick search does not find any memory speed information. Sorry

You may need to go into your BIOS settings and reclock the memory. You can find information on resetting BIOS on our User or Service Manuals online at http://support.Dell.com.
