No Bluetooth
Hi Guys completly new to all this, I have a vostro lap top 1500 but it was bought last year without blue tooth. I'm given to understand that it can be bought and fitted very easily. Can anyone tell me whats is involved? and what it might cost? Cheers Mel

Welcome to the forums :emotion-21:
I'm not sure if there's a specific card for your Vostro 1500 (you'd need to double-check on the Dell website), but the standard bluetooth device for laptops, is a wireless mini card - i.e. the 'Dell Wireless 370 Bluetooth Mini-Card'.
But if you're at all unsure of the specific card required, +/or how to fit it... you might want to consider just getting a wireless bluetooth USB adapter/dongle instead :emotion-55:
There are any number of makes/models available, but it's advisable to go with a known/reputable brand - i.e. Linksys, Netgear, D-Link or whatever, even if they do cost a bit more than a no-name adapter.
Even a brand name adapter isn't too expensive, but shop around nonetheless :emotion-5:

;^) Here's another possibility. The online manual for your model shows how to install the bluetooth module. It seems that it fits under the keyboard. The module measures about 1" × ½", and mine cost about $11.00 when I bought it from Dell a couple of months ago.
:^/ Of course, you mileage may vary, but I prefer the internal antenae because it leaves my USB ports free for other things.
