.pka files

Call me stupid, but I cannot open .pka files.  I cannot determine the application to use and tried allowing the internet to locate an application for me.
I was sent to Microsoft Application Search which did not help and ended up at Uniblue.com  and tried their free Registry and System scan which also encountered errors. 
So, anyone know how I open .pka files ? oh, and i use vista

    Could you explain where the file came from and what it's suppose to be? It would help in determine what kind of application may open it.
