Screen goes blurry at boot-up

Hi,

Anyone experienced their entire screen going blurry immediately after boot-up? What solutions are there for this. On my 8200, it seems to take longer than normal to boot-up, then once it has fully booted up, the screen starts "quivering" back and forth rapidly and everything gets blurry as it does so. I then restart the system and it is fine after that. Any hints are appreciated. Thank you!

Well there could be a few things that may cause this problem,

    1. The graphics chipset you may have could have problems as far as static build up, degredation in chip circuitry, or slightly defective.
    2. The ribbon cable that connects between your graphics controller and your LCD display maybe slightly damaged or loose (usually the ribbon runs through the hindges that connect the LCD moniter to the laptops main body ofcourse i doubt this is the reason for it because a damage ribbon would cause other problems like blacked out sections or distorted pixelation).
    3. The refresh rate on your laptop is not set to a proper setting that the display can handle, standard laptop displays are usually defaulted 60HZ because it happens after the Bios screen my guess this is more likely related to the problem.

Because problem number 3 is the most likely and easiest to check i will tell you how.

    1. First "Right click" on the desktop.
    2. Then "Click" properties.
    3. Now "Click" on the "Settings" Tab.
    4. "Click" on the "Advanced" button towards the bottom.
    5. Now "Click" on the "Moniter" Tab.
    6. In this window verify it is set to 60Hz for the refresh rate.

If this did not fix the problem then we can try another option.

    1. "Right Click" the "My Computer" icon on the desktop or in the Start menu.
    2. "Click" the "Properties" option.
    3. "Click" the "Hardware " Tab.
    4. "Click" on the "Device Manager" button towards the center.
    5. On here "Click" the "Plus" sign next to where it says "Moniters".
    6. "Double Click" on your moniter and choose "Uninstall".
    7. Restart the computer and Windows will atomatically reinstall the Moniter drivers.
