Studio 15 Question

I'm looking to buy my wife a new laptop and am considering the Dell Studio 15. Looking on the Internet for its ratings I read where some owners say that this unit lacks a disk busy light and also a CAPS ON indicator.  Anyone out here know if this is the case?

Thanks,  Bob

The Caps On Indicator is on the taskbar not on the keyboard itself. I just got my Studio 15 yesterday, and now that you mentioned it I don't see a disk activity light.

I don't usually' care about the HDD light, but there are times that I really need to see it blinking (or not). This one fact keeps me from buying it.

    Dell, tsk tsk.

My only guess by eliminating lights it will extend battery life.

Well I have a Studio 1536. It has a Caps lock key just like any other keyboard. As far as the disk goes, no it doesn't have a busy indicator but it has a little eject arrow on my dashboard that tells you when its busy.
