Had a HD crash on a N5050 laptop and had to install a new one. I didn't have a backup so I installed Win 7 from another system disk but Windows did not accept the old product key. What should I do?
If it’s a Dell OEM Reinstallation operating system disc its a preactivated disc it would not ask you for the product key during Windows installation.Please send me a private message with the computer's service tag, Name registered during the system purchase; email address so that I can check and assist you further.
