Wireless connection

Hellp folks,

I've just bought a Dell 3011 AIO Unit. However it is not picking up my wireless home broadband and I'm having to remain plugged in ( which is a pain).

Dell's main site hasn't been much help ( still waiting on the site analyzing my system etc having registered the service tags) so I'm on here for some tips to get my new Dell unit connected before I give up and send it back.

Cheers

G.

    Hi Rick ,

Thanks for getting back; much appreciated. I've ran the finding system info however i'm having difficulty removing ( due to trying to locate the info) the product id and registered owner details. It states ' please remove the product id and registered owner before posting' ....how is this done as it won't allow you to delete it ?

    Thanks

    Graeme

    Graeme,

I do not see a wireless adapter listed, under network adapters.

Look in these places to see if your Connection is enabled

I only needed you to remove personal information from

    Registered Owner:
    Registered Organization:
    Product ID:

The system model has been removed or changed.

This is a new system, so I would Contact Dell Technical Support and let them remote in and see if they can fix it. If not, they may have to send a person out to replace the wireless adapter. It may have come loose or failed.
