Cracked Screen ON U2711
I have a U2711 with a cracked screen I am trying to find a replacement part or get a quote from Dell on the repair. I have been bounced From tech support to costumer care to parts back to Costumer support and back to tech and then to sales. Am I just out of luck is there anyway to fix this screen?

I don't have accidental Damage covered in my warranty, Is there any way to get a repair qoute from dell?

We cannot give you a repair quote because we do not repair them.

That is fine I tore it open and found out the screen is a LG LCD Screens LM270WQ2 now I just have to find one to purchase

Brian,
Dell does not sell monitor components or repair monitors. We simply replace the whole monitor while under warranty. Outside of warranty, you will need to contact ebay, craigs list, or other spare part vendors.
