Never mind the Dell Monitors. I have three of them, a P2417, a P2419 and a much older P1907, all plugged into a non-DELL PC. The DDM is NOT supported unless it is a DELL or Alienware PC. Come on DELL, you can do better. It is the displays of your DELL brand name monitors that I am trying to manage, NOT the PC itself.

My system specs are: SELF ASSEMBLED DESKTOP Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-7100 CPU @ 3.90GHz 3.90 GHz Installed RAM 8.00 GB Device ID 11D025D6-7542-4A7F-9C5B-7C64D5E29175 Product ID 00326-00799-87527-AAOEM System type WINDOWS 10 HOME 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Video Card: Intel(R) HD Graphics630 with 4183 MB Graphics Memory My 3 DELL Monitors are: 1. U2419H - connected via video card's HDMI to monitor's HDMI(Standard HDMI cable) 2. P2419H - connected via video card's DVI to monitor's HDMI(using a HDMI to DVI adaptor wire) 3. P190S - connected via Video card's VGA to monitor's VGA - I know that DDM is not supported on this really old monitor with an analogue connection so that's out. It's too tiny (19 inch 4:3 aspect ratio) for a split screen anyway. The problem is that the DDM can be downloaded and appears to be installed. I can specify the screen layouts I want and the yellow lines will appear. This is on either of the 2 newer monitors. However, the DDM settings will not "take" or "stay" as the moment I drag any open window into the yellow boxes, they will disappear and when I attempt to size or resize the windows on the screen, it behaves as though the DDM is non existent or not installed at all. Any ideas?

It sounds like you have the Easy Arrange SHIFT enable option checked. Either:

1. Hold down the SHIFT key while moving and releasing a window inside an Easy Arrange target "cell"

or

2. Go to the Easy Arrange page in DDM and UNcheck "Hold down the SHIFT key to enable zone positioning"

The option exists to allow you to temporarily disable EA when moving a window you do *not* want sized and positioned.
