Bought a 2407 a few weeks ago, and I just moved back to school, and when I was taking apart the monitor (read the monitor apart from the stand), the stand got stuck at the very bottom, and locked, and I can't get it back up...Is there something I'm missing?
There's a little black button on the back that releases the monitor from the stand, and there's a grey longish rectangular button on the stand, but pressing it does nothing...
A common "problem" which can be solved by pressing downward upon the top of the Monitor housing with just enough pressure to relieve the 'stuck' lock (grey rectanglar button) which can then be depressed and released. :-)
I think that is a safety feature to have the user pushing down the screen before the quick release button can be pressed. Imagine what will occur when someone press the release button accidentally and the screen spring suddenly! Messy...
