Hello all,

Very happy with this excellent monitor however there is one very irritating problem.   After about 1hr of use I get a strange flicking problem in games and the brightness changes as I move around.  This does not occur on a still image, while writing this message the display does not flicker and the brightness is consistant over the whole screen.  I've included a picture to show the kind of place where it is particularly bad:

To explain another way, imagine there is a brightness control on the monitor.  When you are stood still the brightness is fine.  Imagine everytime you ran around someone was turning the brightness up slightly on the monitor, when you stopped moving the brightness returns to normal.  Imagine this happening really fast with certain colours, this is where the flicker comes in. 

Is extremely annoying and such a shame considering everything else is perfect :(  I am convinced it is the monitor because I have tried another monitor on this system and all is fine.  I have also tried this monitor on another computer and does the same thing.  It crossed my mind that it might be the resolution but still get the same effect at 800x600.  Using a VGA cable makes no difference and changing the dvi cable/trying in a different dvi slot in the monitor doesn't help at all.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else has had this problem.  I returned my first 2790W because of mutliple dead pixels, this screen is perfect except for this problem.  Thank you for you time :)
